WriteABC is an Android app developed by Sriram Satyavolu (1125 Cozy oak Ave, Cary NC 27519).

WriteABC first became available on 28 Mar 2012. It is estimated that WriteABC has been downloaded between 100000 and 500000 times from the Play Store.

WriteABC Apr2016 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
